Flowtopia Live 2026: Engineering the Frictionfree Enterprise

If your goals are accelerating flow and maximizing value in your organization, consider grabbing yourself a ticket to this year’s Flowtopia Live on Wednesday, June 24th. Flowtopia is a community of value stream practitioners, and this is our annual online jamboree where we gather to share, learn, and celebrate all things flow-related.

Over 12 hours, we are featuring 50 live and interactive sessions with an incredible line-up of speakers, including transformational leaders from enterprises including Axians, Caisse des dépôts, Delta Airlines, Deutsche Telekom, Genomics England, Metlife, Parchment, Paymentology, Nationwide, NHS, Raytheon, RELEX Solutions, Sky, WIN Brands, Zayo, and many more!

What’s on

What’s in it for you

50 Live Sessions

Direct interaction with leaders from Delta, Sky, and the NHS.

3 Parallel Tracks

Specialized content for Product, Engineering, and Leadership.

3 Hands-on Workshops

Practical skills in AI-driven models, VSRAs, and Lean mapping.

Certification

Optional VSM Foundation training on June 23rd.

You have three parallel tracks to choose from: Product, Engineering, and Leadership. Or maybe you don’t want to choose—not a problem: you can buy a Velocity pass and get access to all the talks for 90 days. Or become a Flow Pro annual member via the Infinite Flow Bundle and access on demand for as long as your membership is current.

All of our speakers are delivering their talks live because they want to interact with you, their audience—they want to answer your questions and hear your feedback. We also have three live panels planned: one about value streams in the new ITIL with three of the authors, Steve Pereira, Vickie Gray, and Simone Jo Moore. In another panel, we’re inviting discussion about the relationship between product and engineering and asking, who’s leading who? Our third panel is investigating where our AI’s at—are you finding it useful? Are you worried about its impact on the economy or safety? Is it delivering on the hype? In all panel sessions, we’ll be eliciting questions and contributions from conference attendees.

Many of our speakers are also authors—here’s a selection you can speak with about the experiences they’ve gained, the knowledge they’ve gleaned and how they are sharing it all with the community:

●      Rich Allen: User Needs Mapping

●      Debashis Bhattacharyya: Engineering Respect and Trust

●      David Billouz: ITSM Value Streams: Transform opportunity into outcome

●      Nicolas Brown: Real World Agility

●      Marc Hornbeek: Engineering Respect and Trust

●      Matt LeMay: Impact First Product Teams

●      Jack Maher: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants

●      Steve Pereira: Flow Engineering

●      Sheena Yap Chan: Bridging the Confidence Gap

We also have three live workshops on the agenda:

  1. Value Stream as a Living Operating Model: From Generative Discovery to Validated Economic Outcomes with Brian Paniccia, demonstrating how AI transforms traditional value stream mapping into a living, real-time operating model by using RAG signal data and simulations to rank improvements by economic impact. Attendees will collaboratively model an optimized workflow for a global challenge, seeing firsthand how a continuous feedback loop validates ROI and democratizes Lean systems thinking at enterprise scale.
  2. Building Value Stream Reference Architectures from Scratch, in which Dr. Craig Statham will show the practical application of VSRA by walking through an example organization structure to build and discover a reference architecture. Using Valustra, a new AI-assisted tool, he will examine the team topology for the reference architecture and consider how the right interaction modes between teams help to improve flow.
  3. Value Stream Mapping for Leaders Workshop with Miguel Dias – a hands-on 60-minute workshop, where participants map and measure a delivery workflow, identify bottlenecks, and apply lean principles to improve the speed and quality.

The day before Flowtopia Live, on Tuesday, June 23rd, we’re also offering the first-ever live classroom training for the new version of the Value Stream Management Foundation course (you can get certified if you want to!) in a special, condensed five-hour format with Value Stream Pro’s Jack Maher.

We’re starting at 9 am and running until 9 pm (BST)—you can drop in and out as you wish, and with three parallel tracks and a twelve-hour running time, you’ll probably want to invest in being able to catch up on the bits you missed at your leisure. You might want to consider setting up a watch party at your workplace—book a conference room and order in some snacks so your colleagues can stop by and watch the sessions they are most interested in. You can get team tickets, too – check out the events page for more details.

Our Gold Sponsor, nVeris, will feature a talk by Devan Corona and Andrew Mauricio titled ‘AI Won’t Replace Engineers. Broken Systems Will Waste Them.’ where they’ll tackle the truth that AI is making something impossible to ignore: most engineering teams adopted AI tools and aren’t shipping any faster. Look out for their lightning talk at the start of the panel sessions as well.

Our sponsors, Allstacks, Comparative Agility, IT Revolution, PeopleCert, ProKanban.org, and Team Topologies, will be exhibiting in the Perks and Partner space, and we’ll be giving away flash prizes all day long, live in the event chat: books, event tickets, exam vouchers, free memberships, and gift cards.

As a Flowtopia member, you get FREE access to:

●      A 1-hour Flow Fundamentals course with a digital badge

●      Monthly flow clinics with community experts to get your questions answered

●      Exclusive, interactive Flow Sessions with industry innovators

●      Networking and chat with value-driven change agents

Mistral Moves Coding Agents to the Cloud — and Gets Out of Your Way

For the past year or so, AI coding agents have been tethered to your local machine. You kick off a task, watch the terminal, and babysit every step. It works — but it’s not exactly hands-free. Mistral just changed that. On April 29, the Paris-based AI company announced remote coding agents for its Vibe platform, powered by a new model called Mistral Medium 3.5. The idea is simple: Instead of running coding sessions on your laptop, they now run in the cloud — asynchronously, in parallel, and without you watching over them. What’s Actually New Coding sessions can now work through long tasks while you’re away. Many can run in parallel, and you no longer become the bottleneck at every step the agent takes. That’s the core pitch. You start a task from the Mistral Vibe CLI or directly from Le Chat — Mistral’s AI assistant — and the agent handles the rest. When it’s done, it opens a pull request on GitHub and notifies you, so you review the result inste...

Co-Developing an AI Native Observability Platform

As AI capabilities continue to evolve, AI is becoming central to managing the growing complexity of distributed, hybrid enterprise environments, enabling more effective analysis, correlation, and automation across interconnected systems.   Traditional infrastructure and specifically network monitoring approaches, often built around siloed tools and static thresholds, struggle to keep pace with the scale, velocity, and interdependencies of modern systems. Further blurring the boundaries between network, application, and infrastructure domains makes it harder to isolate root causes and maintain operational resilience. In this context, AIOps platforms have emerged as one response to the growing need for integrated observability, automation, and data-driven decision-making.   At AI Field Day, Selector AI presented an AIOps platform, which can be considered a foundation for co-creating more adaptive and data-driven network operations. Rather than positioning it purely as a product choice,...
